Aerial photography has been around for quite awhile. However, the technology of capturing photography from the sky is always evolving.

Drones have become a leading aerial photography resource in this day and age. Drones are used to capture sporting events, concerts, residential homes and local businesses. However, with great power comes great responsibility. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) now requires commercial drone users to be licensed.

We at CA Robinson Photographic are licensed pilots and fully insured for drone flight. When interviewing a drone operator for the first time, please ask for their credentials. The FAA could fine you thousands of dollars for civil penalties and/or up to $250,000 for criminal penalties for unlicensed commercial use.
